Noni Purnomo

Noni Purnomo holds an Industrial Engineering Degree from The University of Newcastle, an MBA major in Finance and Marketing from The University of San Francisco, and in 2019 she received a Doctorate Degree Honoris Causa from The University of Newcastle, Australia. Noni is a mother of 3 daughters, businesswoman and philanthropist.

Noni started her career in Blue Bird as Maintenance Facility staff and she has contributed in many divisions in Blue Bird throughout her journey at Blue Bird In 2014 She was appointed as The President Director of Blue Bird Group Holding (PT PCD) to manage the whole company Business Portfolio which include Logistics, Property, Heavy Equipment Tradings and IT Services. In 2019 she was appointed as The President Director of PT Blue Bird Tbk, the Passenger Transportation company. Noni is the founder of Blue Bird Peduli, which focused on education, women empowerment, environmental sustainability, and cultural preservation. Outside of Blue Bird, Noni worked at the Jakarta Convention Bureau as a Market Research Officer in 1995.

The Award she has received include 2015, Featured as the Cover of Forbes Asia as “Power Women in Asia”; 2019 Australia Alumni of the Year; 2019 National Leadership Alumni Award from The University of Newcastle; 2020 DX CEO Award from ID DX; November 2020 from United Nation Women Empowerment Principals Award as the first champion in Leadership Commitment category. And several awards prior to 2015.

Noni has been actively supporting several start up companies through her own investment company and through ANGIN women funds, which she is the co founder. She is also actively involved in several mentorship programs and recently awarded as “Mentor of the Year” from Endeavor Indonesia.

Noni serves as a board member of the Australia Indonesia Institute, advisory board member of Junior NBA Asia, advisory board member of Antler Asia, Chairman of Satya Budaya Indonesia (Javanese Traditional Dance Organisation), President (2017 2020) and Chairman of the advisory board (20 20 2023) of Intelligent Transportation Society Indonesia Chapter. The University of Indonesia Board of Trustee member for the period 2019 2024. Vicechair of the ALUMNAS (American University Alumni Association) for 2021 2026.
